Who are Dublin Business Network?
Dublin Business Network (DBN) is a group of SME business owners who come together on a regular basis to host business networking events and share business opportunities with each other; refer real and relevant business leads to each other and actively support each other in a mutually beneficial partnership.
Business Networking without the Pressure - The DBN Difference
Dublin Business Network was founded by a group of SME Owners who had experienced how business networking is normally done and thought there has to be a better way. All members of a well-known network, they felt that the constant pressure to produce a list of lead referrals for fellow network members was a burden on their business and a distraction. Furthermore, because members were under this pressure to produce on a weekly basis, the quality of those leads suffered. People were passing on low quality leads just to be able to say they had made a positive contribution that week and had an acceptable number against their name.
Dublin Business Network is an antidote to that. We are smaller, but more beautifuly formed. As a member, you are not under pressure to pass on leads every time you turn up. Instead, you get to know your fellow members and their businesses. And because you have got to know them, you feel more comfortable passing them on to your business contacts where and when you can. So there is no pressure to produce. But you feel positive about the whole process and will refer leads whenever you can. And we’re good with that.
