How Dublin Business Network Works
Dublin Business Network (DBN) is a structured business networking group for SMEs based in Dublin. We meet monthly for a breakfast networking event in Sandyford, Dublin 18, where members share referrals, make introductions, and help each other grow.
Step 1: Apply to Join
DBN operates on a one-member-per-profession basis. This means only one accountant, one solicitor, one mortgage broker, and so on. When you apply, we check whether your profession is already represented. If there is a vacancy, we invite you to attend a meeting as a guest.
Step 2: Attend a Guest Meeting
Before committing to membership, you are welcome to attend one of our monthly breakfast networking events in Dublin as a guest. This gives you the opportunity to meet existing members, experience the format, and decide whether DBN is the right fit for your business.
Step 3: Become a Member
If you decide to join and the group votes to accept you, you become the exclusive representative of your profession within DBN. Membership gives you access to a trusted network of fellow Dublin business owners who are actively looking to refer business to each other.
Step 4: Monthly Meetings & Referrals
Members meet monthly at our Dublin 18 breakfast networking events. Each meeting follows a structured format: members give a short business update, share referrals they have received or given, and one member delivers a longer presentation about their business. There are no attendance quotas or mandatory referral targets — just genuine business networking.
Why Join a Business Networking Group in Dublin?
Referral-based business networking is one of the most cost-effective ways for SMEs to generate qualified leads. When a trusted colleague refers a client to you, the conversion rate is significantly higher than cold outreach or paid advertising. DBN members consistently report that their most valuable clients have come through the network.
